National Collegiate Rugby has officially announced the men’s brackets for the 2025 Collegiate Rugby Championship. 80 of the top collegiate programs from across the country converge on the Maryland Soccerplex in search of a national championship across four divisions.

In the Men’s Premier Cup, reigning champion Wheeling headlines the West bracket as the top seed, and the only team to beat the Cardinals this spring, Iowa Central Community College (ICCC) is the top seed in the East. 2022 champion Kutztown leads the Midwest as the No. 1 seed, while 2022 finalist (and 2011 & 2012 champion) Dartmouth leads a stacked group in the South.

In Division I Club, defending champion Louisville returns as the top seed in the West. South Carolina. North Carolina State, Nebraska and Claremont Colleges look like top contenders to prevent a repeat. South Carolina is the top seed in the East, finishing second in the SCRC. The Gamecocks will be challenged by MARC champion West Chester, as well as UMass and UNC Charlotte, who won automatic qualifiers. 

There will be a new winner in Division II, as defending champion Maine did not make the field. 2022 and 2023 CRC champion IUP, also winners of the last two 15s national titles, looms large as the top seed in the East. Out West, Northwestern enters as the top seed, having won the Great Midwest 7s in Cottage Grove, WI.

In Division III, defending champion Slippery Rock returns as the No. 1 seed in the East, while Wisconsin-Eau Claire tops the West. The Bluegolds are 26-2 this spring, winning four of six tournaments. Challengers include Duke, Springfield, and Cal Poly Humboldt, all of whom are in top form.
