ATLANTA, Ga. - The cream rose to the top at the 2025 Women’s Rising Stars Championship at Silverbacks Park. The talented team from the Mid-Atlantic, led by tournament MVP Kelly Greenleaf of Towson University, didn’t drop a single match all weekend and finished the job by defeating the Eastern Penn All-stars 24-5 to take home the Championship.

Drexel Dragon Syd Worthington scored two tries for the Mid-Atlantic with Juliete Robinson and Morgan Raun, out of Georgetown and Johns Hopkins respectively, scored one apiece. Robinson, along with Greenleaf, were the two Mid-Atlantic All-stars named to the All-Tournament Team. 

Northern Michigan’s Ella Ericksen, whose nine tries throughout the tournament helped her Great Waters squad to a third place finish, also made the list along with the weekend’s top overall scorer – Prairie State’s Maurina Street out of North Dakota who scored 12 tries and kicked three conversions.
