Iowa Central, Rio Grande, Southern Nazarene, Wyoming, Air Force, Drury and Nebraska will duke it out at the Crimson Storm Classic in Bethany, OK. Should Wyoming, Nebraska or Drury emerge as victors, they would qualify for their first ever CRC appearance.
Kutztown, Babson, Fordham, West Virginia, AIC, Delaware, Christendom and Nazareth will contest the Frostbite 7s in Lancaster, PA. 2022 Premier Cup champion Kutztown looms as a favorite, AIC could be dangerous with Premier Rugby 7s veteran Kahunu Koi on the pitch, and defending Small College champion Babson seeks a Premier Cup berth, led by talented scorers in Reed Santos and Jack Byzios.
In friendly action, the Hawkeye Classic is being contested in Iowa City, IA, with the women playing Saturday and the men playing Sunday. Both competitions feature a mixture of Midwestern teams across conferences and divisions. As well, the University of Memphis men are hosting the Bluff City 7s Saturday, as the Missouri Tigers look to repeat as champions.
