The University of Northern Colorado Women’s Rugby Club is searching for a head coach! We are a returning D2 club that was active pre-covid, we are now active again, having just finished our first full year as a new club.
The ideal candidate for this coaching position will:
- Be certified level 1 or higher coach
- Have experience coaching women’s rugby
- Be able to attend our Tues/Thurs practices from 6-8pm at UNC (4 hours/week)
- Promote the ideals and community of women’s rugby
- Support the improvement of relatively new players and team
- Be able to attend a majority of our weekend scrimmages and tournaments
The position offers a one thousand dollar stipend for the 2024 fall semester and would be negotiable in the future. Coaches are re-signed by semester. Ideally, we would like to have a coach that is willing to be a part of our team for more than one semester. We have an inexperienced, but ambitious group with a lot of potential that could benefit greatly from a good coach.
