National Collegiate Rugby (NCR), the United States college rugby association, and SCRUMMY, a leading name in global fantasy sports, announced today a fantasy partnership.
The partnership will bring more opportunities for fans to take part in the excitement of collegiate rugby, with a data-driven fantasy experience.
NCR and SCRUMMY also partnered for the 2026 Collegiate Rugby Championship (CRC) National 7s that took place in Boyds, Maryland in April. Fans, families, and players were able to download the Scrummy App to build fantasy rosters, lock in tournament predictions, and follow real-time updates across the weekend. The success of the fantasy partnership at CRC is what led NCR and SCRUMMY to partner again, and expand the fantasy offerings into the First Point USA Scholar’s Cup, which kicks off September 26.
“Our partnership with SCRUMMY at CRC National 7s was a huge success, so we’re very excited to continue building on that momentum,” said Jeremy Treece, NCR CEO. “At NCR, we see fantasy sport as an important part of fan engagement and we look forward to SCRUMMY’s continued growth in collegiate rugby.”
Details regarding the fantasy offerings for the Fall XVs season will be announced soon, stay tuned at NCR.Rugby for more information.
