Stay engaged with rugby through NCR’s Fall Programs
We are offering several virtual programs that build team engagement, support club development, provide coaching education and help your club transition back to rugby.
To participate in the Fall Programs, clubs and coaches must be registered.
Rugby United New York Coaching Workshop, starts September 23
We are pleased to announce a new coaching program in partnership with Rugby United New York. Over six sessions, RUNY coaches and international guest speakers will provide coaching insights in areas such as team culture, attacking trends, and more. This course is a $300 value.
All registered NCR coaches will receive meeting details.
Rhino Rugby Virtual Season, starts September 20
We can’t be on the pitch, but we can still have fund and compete against teams through our Virtual Season. The Virtual Season will provide a conference and national tournament pitting clubs against each other through fitness challenge, rugby trivia, and club development initiatives.
Registered clubs can win custom kits along with other prizes such as match balls and rucking shields. Clubs can find more information in the Virtual Season Overview.
Coaches Forum, next September 29
This on-line series supplements the RUNY courses by focusing on club development topics and additional coaching strategies. These forums are intended to be interactive and will include NCR coaching staff and coaches from several of our teams.
All registered coaches will receive meeting details.
Best Practice Series
Our mission is to support and grow collegiate rugby. To assist our members, we will soon release a Club Rugby Best Practice series that will provide helpful information in the areas of recruiting, player retention, and other topics. Also look for more information about flag rugby, which can be a great alternative while we wait for full contact rugby.
